Pediatric Craniofacial Surgery

cleftteam.jpgThe Cleft and Craniofacial Center provides multidisciplinary, comprehensive care for children with congenital, oncologic and traumatic deformities. The team includes faculty in Plastic Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery, Developmental Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Genetics, Physical therapy and Occupational Therapy, and Neuropsychology. We perform a large volume of surgical procedures each year, with expertise in traditional open calvarial vault reconstruction, cranial distraction, and minimally invasive endoscopic techniques, including spring cranioplasty. In addition, our faculty have trained and actively mentor craniofacial surgeons in Vietnam, Ghana, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Pakistan via observational fellowships, training visits and use of augmented reality technology.
