Deep Brain Stimulation and Responsive Neurostimulator (RNS) Therapy

The multidisciplinary neuromodulation program at COA provides expertise in Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and Responsive Neurostimulation (RNS) surgery for dystonia and medically refractory epilepsy. Candidates for DBS or RNS undergo an extensive presurgical evaluation by a dedicated team of neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuropsychologists, therapists, and nurses to ensure the patient’s best chance of clinical improvement while minimizing risks.
