Cardiovascular Perioperative Staff
CV Periop provides pre and post-operative/post-procedure nursing care for the pediatric patient undergoing surgical and/or interventional procedures for congenital and acquired heart disease and interventional radiology procedures. The nurses in this unit specialize in all aspects of peri-anesthesia care, including:
- Pre-admission testing for cardiac surgery patients
- Preoperative/pre-procedure care for cardiac surgery, cardiac cath and interventional radiology patients
- Post-anesthesia recovery for cardiac cath and interventional radiology patients
