Alabama drivers can help the fight for cystic fibrosis (CF) patients at Children’s of Alabama by choosing the Fighting Cystic Fibrosis specialty car tag when renewing their license plates this year.

The specialty car tag can be purchased at any Alabama Department of Motor Vehicle location for a cost of $50. From the $50 fee, $41.25 goes directly to support CF patients at Children’s. The Fighting Cystic Fibrosis specialty car tag was created by Laps For CF and has raised more than $453,000 for transitional care for CF patients at Children's and UAB Care Centers. Transitional care eases the shift from pediatric to adult care.
