The UAB Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology team at Children’s of Alabama provides comprehensive care for patients with thalassemia in Alabama. Our team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, neuropsychologists, school liaisons, social workers, child life specialists, and other health care professionals dedicated to the care of infants, children, and young adults living with thalassemia.
