Bone Marrow Failure
The UAB Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology team at Children’s of Alabama cares for patients with bone marrow failure syndromes. Bone marrow failure syndromes includes disease in which the bone marrow does not produce blood cells normally. Our team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, neuropsychologists, school liaisons, social workers, child life specialists, and other health care professionals dedicated to the care of infants, children, and young adults living with bone marrow failure syndromes. Our expert team can offer both medical therapies and curative therapies with bone marrow transplant for children diagnosed with bone marrow failure syndromes.
