Dr. Peters received her B.S. from Birmingham-Southern College and her M.D. from the University of Alabama, School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at Children's of Alabama. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also a member of the Jefferson County Medical Society and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama. She joined Mayfair Medical Group in 2007 after practicing at another Children's Health System clinic. Dr. Peters is married with three children. She enjoys spending time with her family participating in activities with her church, is involved in P.E.O. (an international women's philanthropic educational organization) and has interests in photography and scrapbooking.
