Dr. Ojo's core interests focus on studying intestinal epithelial metabolism and differentiation in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Specifically, his group uses patient-derived organoids and murine models to determine how the environment (dietary components, therapies) shapes epithelial metabolism and differentiation in intestinal health and disease.
