The Children’s of Alabama Pediatric Complex Care (Teal) Program strives to provide high-quality, compassionate, comprehensive, and longitudinal care for children with chronic and complex conditions in and out of the hospital.
Teal Team (Inpatient Complex Care Team)
Our inpatient complex care team is a multidisciplinary team, including medical providers, social workers, case managers, dieticians, and pharmacists, who care for children with chronic and complex conditions while they are admitted to the hospital. This team provides a hospital home for children with medical complexity.
Pediatric Complex Care (Teal) Clinic
The Pediatric Complex Care (Teal) clinic serves to help with comprehensive care coordination for children with chronic and complex conditions. Our clinic strives to build relationships with pediatricians and specialty doctors throughout the state to help families feel that they have unified care team.
