Our Supervisors use the following process:

• Referring physician calls One Stop for Consults, Inpatient or Emergency Room referrals
• House Supervisor obtains information about patient and direct call back number
• House Supervisor initiates 3-way call with Children’s physician if needed
• If decision is made to transfer, House Supervisor calls referring facility back with transfer information
