Birmingham, Ala. (Jan. 23, 2024) — You can show your support for Children's of Alabama by purchasing the long-awaited specialty car tag.
The tag can be purchased at any Alabama Department of Motor Vehicle location for $50 in addition to your normal tag cost. $41.25 of the $50 will go to Children's. Proceeds from this tag will focus on the hospital's greatest need, which is to provide the best healthcare to pediatric patients from every county in Alabama and across the Southeast.
"To get this car tag on the road, we received more than 1,000 pre-commitments from Children's employees, patient families, supporters and corporate partners," said Grace Graffeo, Community Development Coordinator at Children's. "We are so grateful for their commitments to the children of Alabama. They went the extra mile to support Children's and get the car tag to DMVs throughout Alabama."
Partners across the state will display the Children's car tag on their fleet and corporate vehicles. These partners include Landscape Workshop, Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers, Gorrie-Regan & Associates, Kid One Transport and Birmingham Luxury Motors.
