Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers Hosting Annual Fundraiser for Children’s of Alabama

Birmingham, Ala.  (April 1, 2025) — Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is kicking off its Changing Oil Changing Lives campaign to support Children’s of Alabama.

For every service in April, locations across the state will donate $1 to the state’s only free-standing pediatric medical facility. Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers launched this campaign in 2008, raising more than $1 million for the hospital.

“We are incredibly grateful for Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers’ commitment to Children’s of Alabama through the Changing Oil Changing Lives campaign,” said Chandler Bibb, Chief Development Officer at Children’s of Alabama. “This partnership helps Children’s provide a creative outlet for our patients that helps reduce stress and anxiety and promotes emotional well-being while in the hospital.”

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers has been the sole supporter of the Children’s Art and Expressive Therapy Program. Child Life specialists at Children’s and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Arts in Medicine staff work together to create an environment where patients can participate in meaningful art activities.
