Dr. Cardenas joined UAB and the Children´s of Alabama on July 2018 as a Clinical Assistant Professor. He is currently Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology. His area of clinical practice is Pediatric Imaging, with special interest in Pediatric Neuroradiology, Arterial Spin Labeling for the evaluation of pediatric cerebral perfusion; Neuroradiology of the developing brain; imaging of Non-accidental trauma; and pediatric Body MRI
