The Children's of Alabama Accredited Continuing Education Program, established in 1977, strives to continually improve quality of care by providing high quality educational activities which are relevant to the hospital's mission, the patient population served, and the types of services provided. The ACE Program is a direct responsibility of the Board of Trustees and the Medical Executive Committee and is accredited by the Medical Association of the State of Alabama.

The Children's of Alabama ACE Program accredits a variety of activities including weekly on-site Pediatric Medical Grand Rounds, which may be viewed from an off-site location for ACE credit, other regularly scheduled series, and conferences. The ACE Program is supported by the Children's of Alabama ACE Committee and the Medical Education Resources Department.
